Description

Class Experience

Students will use their creativity to expand on and respond to their favorite stories.
Students will use art, writing, speaking, and other forms of self-expression to create book related projects each week.
Students will listen respectfully and offer kind compliments about the work of their classmates.
Students will share their project and ideas confidently with their classmates.
Students are encouraged to continue playing with their projects outside of class as much or as little as they'd like. The bulk of all important / necessary project work will be done in class. :)
I will post a note in the classroom with any materials needed each week. These may vary, but might include basic art supplies like paper, scissors, pencils, a glue stick, markers or crayons, etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students are assessed based on participation -- this means showing up with curiosity, listening respectfully, honoring the ideas of others, as well as their own. :) This also means doing their best on their own project and working hard during class. :)
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
