In this fun interactive class students will meet each week to learn Kindergarten concepts! They will learn and practice capital and lowercase letters of the alphabet. Phonics, CVC words. They will learn numbers, counting, simple math concepts, shapes, colors, daily calendar, and seasons. All of these concepts will be taught in a fun and playful atmosphere using repetition, modeling and visual aids. Worksheets will be provided as needed before the appropriate lessons for students to print out and use during class. Students will have ample opportunity to interact with classmates as they learn.

Students should have paper and writing tools available to them during class as well as any print outs provided by teacher.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
I believe I have a LOT to bring to the classroom and I’m EXCITED to begin on this journey in learning with you! I hope to see YOU in my classroom soon!
