I have always loved the classroom practice of daily journal writing. It was a fun way to get students to think, to get them to be silly, to incorporate math, to hear what they have to say, and to get to know who they really are. That is exactly what this course is designed to do! In this on-going class, learners will respond to a question or writing prompt in a writing journal which they will keep. Learners will be able to respond to a question. Learners will practice their writing skills: forming letters, forming sentences, capitalization and punctuation. Learners will be able to share in a group.
If they do not finish their journal, they will be able to do so after the class has ended.
A notebook to be their journal Writing utensils Drawing, coloring, art materials may be used
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
They will keep a journal, which will show the progress they have made!
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
