[This hangout social group is on hiatus during the school year! But please send me a message if you are interested in a future Gundam hangout, and I will let you know if we re-start the group!] This is a fan club and social time, for kids who are interested in the various Gundam series, model kits and overall mythology. Whether you're a longtime fan who knows the detailed history, or a newbie who wants to buy your first Gunpla set, you're welcome to join us each week and meet other kids who share your interests. THIS CLUB IS FOR DISCUSSION. This is an open discussion time, moderated by the instructor. We begin each hangout by covering ground rules for being respectful and using appropriate language. All students are encouraged to talk and to allow everyone in the hang-out group to take turns talking or asking questions. Common discussion topics (initiated by the group): - Which model kit should I order next? and opinions on the quality of the different builds. - Recent news about Gundam and Bandai. - Tips and hacks for builds and detailing - Gundam vs. other mecha, anime or robot franchises THIS IS AN ONGOING CLASS. You will be charged weekly (on Sunday) for the class that meets the following week, until you un-enroll from the class. You may enroll and unenroll whenever you wish, with no commitment. Hello! My students call me Ms. Helen and I pride myself on offering classes that are great learning experiences. This includes some unique content for teens and tweens: Linguistic Puzzles; "Not Typical" writing classes; Creative Lettering techniques; and a 4-day Unusual Art Camp that introduces teens to unorthodox art mediums used by contemporary illustrators. I also provide one-on-one support for high school students writing their college application essays.
I have a broad range of teaching experience spanning 20 years, including my current teaching at the college level, as well as teaching teens, children, and professionals. I also work as an editor, creative content creator and consultant. So why teach on Outschool?
