Come join the drawing fun with a certified art teacher and learn to draw animals, people, nature, cartoon characters etc.!

Class Experience

***Age range is just a suggestion***
Grab your sketchbook, pencils and favorite color medium and let's have some fun!

Students will participate in a step-by-step drawing lesson. They will then be encouraged to use their own creativity to add detail and color to their drawings. Students are also encouraged to share their work with the class, but not required. Each week the students give suggestions of what they would like to draw the following week.

I have a passion for art, as well as teaching! My experience in the art classroom has provided me the knowledge, patients, and talent to bring out the unique artist in every student!

Students may need time outside of class to finish their project or to practice the skills they learned.

Sketchbook or plain white paper
At least four different drawing pencils for shading lessons. (4H, 3H, 2H, H HB, F, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B) try to chose a couple from each end of the spectrum and the middle. 2B is always a good pencil to have.
Eraser 
Colored pencils or crayons

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
