What's even more fun than Drama Camp? Drama Club of course! This weekly club is for anyone who enjoys acting and wants to expand their acting skills. Each week we will play a variety of drama games designed to exercise different acting strengths. Ensemble Building, Focus, Characterization and Movement are some of the areas we will work on. Each week we will play specific games that focus on one area, though of course as time permits we can play our favorite games as well! Learners of all levels of experience are welcome. This club is designed to be a non-threatening, non-competitive space for learners explore acting and have fun! Parental Guidance Note: The subject matter in this Drama class will be PG level. Most of the scenes in class are improvised, and I try not to censor the students' content unless it is offensive or excessively violent. Mild comedic violence is common, and some possibly frightening themes such as ghosts or zombies do come up sometimes.

Hello! My name is Lydia, and I love teaching! I have taught public school, private school, daycare, and home school co-op classes to learners of a wide variety of ages. While I have taught all different kinds of subjects, my favorite subjects are literature and drama (and juggling, if that can be considered a subject!) I enjoy acting in my local community theater.
I know that people learn in a variety of ways. I try to be attentive to my students and adapt my teaching style to suit their needs. I like to have fun while learning!
