Weekly Diversity in Picture Books Reading Comprehension: 5 W's and How?
This weekly course will focus on a different picture book each week. Students will work on identifying characters, plot points, story sequencing and answering "Who?" "What?" "When?" "Where?" "Why?" and "How?"

Description
Class Experience
- Story prediction based off cover art and title - Answering 5 W's and How - Participating in Active Listening
I hold my degree in English Secondary Education and a M.A. in Fiction Writing. I currently homeschool my six year old, who has worked with the five W's through speech therapy as well.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will keep track of which students can answer the 5 W's on their own by using a checksheet. Student progress will be shared at the end of each class.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
