This class is taught in English.

Each week, students participate in a mini-lesson designed to teach them different strategies and techniques that will sharpen their writing skills. Learners will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned by writing independently in response to various prompts. This way, students learn and immediately apply different writing principles, piece by piece, as they develop their writing skills. Students will also develop and improve their public speaking skills as they share their work with the class. 

I have nearly a decade of teaching experience in various settings. I've taught in the brick-and-mortar setting as well as online. Writing is a topic that I am personally passionate about.  While working in the brick-and-mortar school setting, I would frequently work 1:1 with special needs students to help them become better writers and accomplish the goals outlined in their IEP's.

Homework Offered
Parents are welcome and encouraged to send the teacher a screen print of their learner's writing.  I can provide more in-depth feedback this way. I'm happy to work with learners/parents outside of class time.  Please message me if you are interested in additional feedback.  
Assessments Offered
Each learner is assessed informally based on their participation and story output.  Parents are encouraged to email the learner's work to the teacher for more detailed feedback on their learner's writing.
