Students enrolled in this weekly writing workshop will practice providing feedback on their peers' creative writing projects, in turn receiving valuable feedback on their own writing. We will discuss how to provide honest, constructive feedback in a respectful manner, as well as the importance of letting one's work speak for itself and accepting both positive and negative feedback gracefully. This experience is intended to give writers insight about things they might want to consider when...
Writing students will learn how to provide feedback on their peers' creative work in a group workshop setting. They will also learn firsthand what kind of experience their own writing creates for readers, empowering them to continually edit and hone their work.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
