Class Experience

Welcome to our wonderful creative sharing social club! We're thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant community where creativity flourishes, and artistic souls unite. Here's a breakdown of what you can look forward to in our sessions:

Warm Greetings and Catch-Up: We'll kick off each session with a friendly hello and a chance for everyone to introduce themselves/say hi! It's a great opportunity to connect, share what you're currently working on, or simply chat with fellow creative minds.

Creative Share: This is the heart of our club! Whether you're into Gacha OC's, Gacha edits, Roblox edits, drawings, paintings, or any other form of artistic expression, you'll have the spotlight to showcase your work. It's a safe space to share, discuss, and get feedback, but remember, it's entirely optional. If you're a bit shy or prefer to keep things private, you can send your content, and I'll happily share it on your behalf. Just make sure it's from source files, no direct social media shares, and no channel names/gamer tags.

Creative Time: Before we wrap up, we can set aside some time for collaboration and creation. It's a perfect opportunity to exchange ideas, do an art trade, create Gacha OCs or Roblox avatars from drawings, or perhaps put the finishing touches on a piece you'd like to share with the group. This is where the magic happens, and you never know what inspiring collaborations might arise!

Important Note: Our class is focused on the social aspect of creativity. While you're sure to learn from fellow members and gain new insights, this isn't an art skills class with structured lessons. Each session's content will be driven by the participants, making each gathering unique and tailored to the interests of those attending.

We're eagerly looking forward to seeing you in our class! The diversity of talents and the camaraderie among our members make this an amazing space to nurture your creativity. So bring your imagination, your projects, and your enthusiasm, and let's make this creative journey together!

Hi, I'm Astrid and I am a mum of two, and a teacher based in the United Kingdom. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics, and I have a Postgraduate degree in teaching Design and Technology. I have worked in schools for over 14 years, and am excited to bring my skills to an online platform.

I love to cook (unless it's dinner - e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y!!), to craft, and my guilty pleasure is gaming! I play Brawl Stars every single day, and I love Roblox (especially Bloxburg!) and Among Us! I am a HUGE Pokémon nerd and love to play Pokémon Go. Expect to see my classes based around these things, because when you love something, it's easy to enthuse others!

I love working with young people and sharing my love of craft & design, textiles, food and gaming, in a fun, engaging and inclusive way. Through seeing the difficulties of my own neurodivergent children in mainstream education, I know first hand of the importance of inclusivity, and strive to make my own lessons both enjoyable and accessible to any learner who wishes to enrol. I like to lead by example, and "make and do" along with the learners, so I am able to cater for a variety of learning styles.

Most of my classes are ongoing, weekly sessions, but these can be also used as one-time classes.

In the aftermath of these difficult times of social distancing, my gaming classes provide a great way for young people to safely connect with their peers and have fun!

I can't wait to welcome you to my classroom!

My class policies:

Subscription (ongoing) classes are billed weekly on a Sunday and can be cancelled on the learner page at any time in advance. Please feel free to attend my ongoing classes just once, by stopping the subscription after class.

Refunds cannot be offered for missed classes, but I offer a flexible transfer policy. Transfer requests must be made 24 hours in advance, and to a different time slot of the same class. Thank you for supporting these policies, that help me maintain smaller class sizes.
