Class Experience

This class is a project based class that teaches HTML, CSS and JavaScript to learners.
Each week we build a new webpage with images, styles, elements, layouts and colors to build a beautiful creation.
This is a fun way for kids to learn the technology as well as enjoy the results. 

Week by week projects
Week 1: Restaurant Menu
Week 2: Make a Calculator
Week 3: Photo Album
Week 4: Build a Party Supply List
Week 5: Design a game board
Week 6: Activity selection form
Week 7: Dynamic list - add and remove items 
Week 8: Rock, Paper, Scissors
Week 9: Add trees to a forest
Week 10: Science poste
and so on.

List of Topics covered (A subset of these will be covered in each class):
* Formatting using P, DIV, SPAN, heading tags
* Text alignment and formatting using font types and weights
* Unordered and Ordered lists
* Tables with rows and columns
* Links to new pages
* Forms with text, password and other form fields
* Applying styles in a cascading manner 
* Using ids and class attributes to styles
* Adding background images
* Building an image map
* Using canvas to draw graphics
* Accepting input and displaying using JavaScript
* Using client side JavaScript to do math
* Building a list of numbers using JavaScript
* and much more :)
Learning Goals
This is meant to be a class where learners learn by coding by hand. Each project teaches them new areas that can use in future projects too. They get better at better at writing code, designing the pages the way they want and building an entire portfolio of beautiful web pages. 
The class helps them stay excited about coding and learning more since the projects are meant to keep them engaged and excited.
