30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
Hello! Welcome! I am so excited to have you here! In this ongoing 30 minute drawing class, students will learn how to draw different cute animals every week by following the teacher's step-by-step live demonstration! This weekly club is a great way for students to let their creativity flow and make new friends during the weekly gatherings. As we draw we will also have fun conversations amongst each other. Depending on the speed of the students, we may begin coloring our masterpieces. I will give all my favorite tips and tricks for coloring! However, the drawings might have to be finished coloring after class. This is an ongoing class. Students may join at any time! SOCIALIZING This class is a great opportunity for your child to socialize! Because this is an ongoing class, your learner will meet with the same group of kids every week, making it even easier for your learner to grow friendships with familiar faces! I try to let students guide the conversation based on their own interests! However, if your learner is shy, no worries! I will help guide and encourage conversation. After doing so, if your learner would rather focus more on the drawing, they can choose to do so! This is a pressure free zone! I want everyone to feel welcomed and comfortable! At the very end of class, students have to choose to share their drawings with the rest of their classmates! Sharing their masterpiece is encouraged, but now required! Throughout the class, if students are confused or need any feedback, questions are encouraged! I know some students are shy, so I will ask throughout the class how everyone is going, allowing for an opportunity to speak if needed! TEACHING APPROACH I aim for a laid back environment where learners feel comfortable and welcomed! Art should be fun! I want students to feel free to express their creativity! There will be no homework or grades for this class.
