I am a certified teacher of both special education and general education, birth through grade 6. I also have a master's degree in literacy, k-12. I worked many years as a preschool special needs teacher in a 12:1:2 classroom.
Learners can use Duplos, Mega blocks, or Legos. Whatever is easiest for them to work with. Please bring a minimum of 3, maximum of 7 for each of the following colors: Blue, Green, Yellow, Red Extra blocks are allowed and welcome for creative play.
There is no formal assessment. As I work with your child I will pick up on what they know and what skills we can work on and then adjust our play to suit their individual needs.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
