Weekly Beginner Fashion Drawing Art Class!

In this is weekly ongoing beginner level fashion drawing art class learners will learn how to draw a figure wearing a new fashion every week. After short introductions, the teacher will show the fashion drawing of the day. A second camera will be placed on the example so that students will understand what we will be sketching.

At this point learners will get out their paper, a pencil and something to color with such as crayons, colored pencils or markers.

The teacher will model step by step the drawing one line at a time. Learners will be encouraged to follow along. While my directions are detailed learners are always free to make changes and put their own creative flourishes into the fashion drawing.

Next, the teacher will model the coloring for the students and the students will also color in their fashion drawing. At this point learners can add jewelry and accessories to the drawing if they would like to. Learners are also free to design a background.

At the end of class, learners will have a chance to share their drawing if they would like to. This kind of participation is optional but highly encouraged. The teacher will give uplifting and supportive feedback to the students. We will then say our goodbyes and sign off for the day!

*The only prerequisite skill is the ability to follow detailed visual and verbal directions.
