Class Experience

During this course, students draw several different cute, cartoon characters.

Suggested weekly themes (although class is per student's requests):
DAY 1: Space & Weather
DAY 2: Foods
DAY 3: Animals
DAY 4: Plants & Nature

Children have fun with Rozine's curriculum which includes seasonal pop art, cartooning, and graphic design.

Rozine will guide students step by step, stacking basic geometric shapes with pencil until the basic shape of the character is established. Cute, cartoon details, like tiny mouths and big eyes, will be added lightly before students begin to color their art pieces.

Rozine will share shading and texturing techniques for colored pencils. Students may use whichever coloring utensils they are most comfortable with: crayons, markers, pastels, paint, gel pens, etc.

Students thrive in a creative environment where they are encouraged to develop their imagination and artistic expression.
