Each week, we will master a new fundamental building block of language including nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections. Elementary learners will improve their understanding and functionality of the eight parts of speech by identifying, analyzing, and demonstrating each part of speech. By deepening learners' awareness of how the parts of speech work together to form effective communication, they will expand their vocabulary by learning new words associated with each part of speech and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through activities that require identifying and using parts of speech in context. Additionally, learners will improve grammar and language mechanics by applying knowledge of the parts of speech to writing and speaking.
I love illuminating light on the topic of essential skills. As a former Walt Disney World Cast Member, I was heavily immersed in the hospitality industry and trained to harness key pillars of service excellence. I am a college graduate from the University of Central Florida where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Event Management, a discipline that strongly influences my expertise in teaching others essential career and life skills. I hold certifications in TESL, TESOL, and TEFL; and teach English as a second language to students abroad.
