A place where your children become my kids for a certain time a week and through Love, Effective Learning Techniques and Positive Reinforcement get forever captivated to learn Spanish.

This is an excellent program to complement the ongoing learning of: 
😺Spanish Immersion Students (Gr 3, 4, 5, 6 & Junior High depending on level)
😺Beginner heritage students (chicos de padres Latinos).
😺Curious Learner that want to try Spanish

 This is a class for students that want to further their knowledge of the language and have a 💯PACHANGA💯 with Friends every week! The class provides extra support  and opportunities for students to practice their speaking & exercise  the knowledge they have gained through other classes, home interactions or their Immersion program and continue to use it and practice it long term.

Monthly Challenges are presented in the following outcomes that rotate every month:
Week 1:  Comprehension and Fluency 
Week 2 : Pronunciation and Dialogue 
Week 3 :  Descriptive Language and Opinions
Week 4:  Explanatory language and Conversation
Our class is focused on working with outcomes rather than themes. Topics and themes will be individual to each section of this class. The topics and themes will be selected by the teacher inspired on student led learning.

🌟What is a BOOT CAMP?
The structure of this class provides a great platform for learners to learn as much as possible in minimal time. We will be doing some high energy speaking exercises where focus and mental fitness is key. After that, we will plateau into a steady speaking flow and diverse Speaking challenges that keep the energy pumping and lastly transition into a cool down of free flow conversation and Q&A's. BOOT CAMPS are best for learners that like challenges, having fun, enjoy active learning environments, love online games, jump at speaking opportunities and are not afraid to try and try again! All this will be done in a safe environment, where Spanish learning is fun and facilitated with love. We are going to have a FIESTA everyday we meet!

🦄How will the class be taught?
The class will be taught using body language to illustrate vocabulary. I like to model the language for children and make slight corrections using positive reinforcements. Your child will be presented the opportunity to join the conversation through various prompts. Learners will practice their language skills with other learners and engage in Community learning. 

🦄What is it like to take a class with “La Maestra Moni”?
Welcome to a happy place! My teaching style is dynamic and easy to follow. My aim is to provide ALL students ample opportunity to speak and repeat Spanish terms. The class will be visually appealing and engaging. My goal is to CONNECT with your child and build up his or her confidence.

🦄My Teaching Philosophy:
I use the Comprehensible Input approach to teach this Spanish Immersion class. Comprehensible input is language input that can be understood by listeners despite them not understanding all the words and structures in it. According to Krashen's theory of language acquisition, giving learners this kind of input helps them acquire language naturally, rather than learn it consciously.

This one time class is a great place to start if you would like a full assessment of your child's Spanish level. This is a great way to figure out if your child needs an adjustment or dedicated attention in certain areas like:
