Class Experience
This class is a great opportunity for any aged player to join, have crazy amounts of fun, and learn to play and improve their Rocket League skills. Rocket League is one of the most complicated games out there, and there's a lot to be learn! Team work is key to improving at this game along with quick thinking and planning skills. We we practice some valuable lessons and put them to work in real matches! I'm a Grand Champion ranked player in Rocket League, putting me in the top 1.5% players in the world. I started playing in 2016 and it's a game I love to play and improve on in my free time. Whilst this is just a game, there are many facets which can be carried over to day-to-day life skills. Considering the game has no end-skill point, players must always improve and better themselves as they climb the ranks. Quick thinking is required, communication and teamwork is essential, and its important to control emotions and always be respectful and polite to one another. Class Plan: 1 - Get to know each other and see your play style, then go over a few of our goals for the class. 2 - Practise skills outside of a match setting, identify where we need to improve and train under my direction. 3 - As for the remainder of the class... Lets play! Try to think about all the points we've covered and enjoy some awesome Rocket League matches, perhaps even a tournament! As a teacher, I love to see big smiles on my students faces, I want every student to feel involved and make sure they feel involved, develop good social skills and having an incredible time. We will communicate with one another using Zoom, and we can get together in-game using any console you have, whether it's Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch or PC!
Learning Goals

Communication - This is an essential part of teamwork, and super important to be respectful and polite to one another at all times.

Privacy & Gamer Tags:
Rocket League has implemented a mode which Gamer Tags can indeed be kept private.
Each user has a "Gamer Tag" which is public and is what others who the person plays against sees. This "Gamer Tag" is not enough to add someone as a "Friend". Underneath the gamer tag is an "Epic ID", this is what is required to "Friend" another player.
It is completely up to you as to whether you'd like to provide the "Epic ID" or not. Whether the "Epic ID" is shared or not, we can still proceed with class by joining a "Private Match" with a unique Name and Password for the duration of that class.
If however the learner wishes to participate in teaming up to play against others online during class, a party will be required and therefore the "Epic ID" will need to be shared. However this is not necessary, the class can still be enjoyed without an "Epic ID" by participating in Private Matches during this class.
Supply List
