Hello Weekend Warriors! Are you ready to discover something amazing just outside your front door this weekend? It doesn't matter where you live- there is always something new to learn! Come join me on Thursday mornings as we share and discuss the important natural changes that are happening each month. Every lesson includes a show-and-tell portion, a mini-lesson, and a few minutes of classical music and nature journaling. In the event of a technical difficulty, which is rare but should be planned for, I will make the best effort to schedule a make-up class for everybody. If you cannot make the make-up class, you will get a prorated refund. All other refunds fall under Outschool's general policies. I love responding to messages and comments in the classroom. I will be posting a lot in our community. If you need to reach me, I get back to all weekday comments (Monday through Friday) within 24 hours. I will respond to weekend messages (Saturday and Sunday), early on Monday morning.

Weekend Warriors will need: 1. One notebook that can serve as a nature journal for class and outdoor activities. I suggest finding a notebook with sturdy paper and blank pages that is easy to transport or carry outdoors. 2. A pencil with a good eraser 3. A set of colored pencils. Additional supplies your student might enjoy but are not necessary for class: - Binoculars - Outdoor watercolor set - Jars for collection (recycled cans work great) - A special backpack that can hold supplies and a snack
