Description
Class Experience
This class will help young learners begin to build a foundation for an important musical skill - solfeggio! Solfeggio or solfege is a system that helps train the ear to recognize relationships between pitches and hear patterns in music. It is never too soon to begin building this musical foundation! In class we will learn the solfege syllables (do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti) and the hand signs used for each. We will play different musical games, including call and response and imitation games,...
Learners will learn the solfeggio syllables and hand signs for each syllable.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
