Class experience
Sunny, Cloudy, Windy, Rainy, Stormy....there is something very special about weather! We can predict weather (sort of), it effects our daily activities, and it's fascinating to learn about weather watchers and storm chasers. In this class, we talk all about the weather all of the time! If your learner has a weather fascination this class is for them! We will always begin class with introductions and sharing. Learners are encouraged to share something weather related such as a new weather...
Learners will practice social and public speaking skills. Each class they will learn a new weather/meteorology concept and should be able to recall one new weather fact from the class. They will improve their presentation skills as they are welcome to share weather facts and concepts. They will have a large knowledge base about weather, environment, and other earth science conepts.
Homework Offered
Learners are encouraged to keep a daily weather log, but this is not a requirement of the class.Assessments Offered

If supplies are needed for a class, I will let you know one week before the class (or upon enrollment).
There is a chance that a learner may come with a personal experience with a storm or natural disaster that may be upsetting. If there is a particular topic that may cause sensitivity to learners, please let me know and I will make sure to skip that topic.
