US Grade 6 - 9
The learning goals for this snow course will be to introduce the student to concepts of low pressure systems that produce heavy snow, how to forecast using basic math skills, and some information on the rare phenomena called thunder snow.  There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material.
