The learning goals for this snow course will be to introduce the student to concepts of low pressure systems that produce heavy snow, how to forecast using basic math skills, and some information on the rare phenomena called thunder snow. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions....
I have over 20 years experience in the military working in the weather field or teaching weather to students.
1 file available upon enrollmentThere is a two-page note taker for the student.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
