The learning goals for this lightning course will be to introduce the student to concepts about how lightning is formed, types of lightning, and safety from strikes. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information about the lightning concepts. The student will learn about how lightning forms, the power of lightning, aviation and lightning, and safety tips near the water, in the mountains, and in the home.
I have over 20 years experience in the military working in the weather field or teaching weather to students.
