In this course, I will display current weather maps for the day. Students will learn how to read and understand radar and satellite imagery, learn how to read surface maps and weather service reports, and learn how the weather is impacting various areas of the country and the world. They will learn some fun weather facts and learn about the atmosphere. My class is informal. Students are welcome to ask questions at any time. The class is driven by student interaction and enthusiasm. My teaching style recognizes the learning styles of each student. I offer a mix of instruction and opportunities for questions. The course will include images, slides, video clips, and more. No prior experience or knowledge is required, only an interest in learning about today's weather.
