Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the artistic ways of Todd Parr, such as using bright colors and, black outlines, and basic shapes. They will then get to practice it themselves. The students will also learn that it is more than okay to be different. This class will help with self confidence and acceptance of others, regardless of what they look like. Students will engage in conversation about what they like about themselves, and what they like about each other (or each other's illustrations).
Supplies needed for this class are brightly colored markers, a black marker, a white piece of paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
