Do you love cats and have a feline friend at home or at another family member's home? Then you're in the right place! We will discuss what we love about our cats and how we care for them. You can bring your cat to class, bring a picture of your cat, or just talk about him or her! If you have more than one cat (like I do!), just choose one to focus on for the class. We will take turns introducing our cats and discuss questions such as the following: -Why do you love cats? -Where did you get your cat? -How did your cat get his or her name? -What's your favorite cat toy? -What is your cat's personality like? -What is your cat's favorite food? -What is your cat's favorite thing to do? -And more! See you and your cat in class!
Learning Goals
Students will practice public speaking/presentation skills.
Students will learn about key characteristics of cats.
Students will learn about caring for animals in a kind and respectful way.
