In this one-time class, students will show off their costumes, share their 2020 costume ideas, tell a joke or show a trick, and receive a virtual treat!! SHOW UP IN COSTUME & COME WITH A "TRICK" OR JOKE!

Does your little one love to dress up? Does he/she have an old Halloween costume, superhero masks, or dress up clothes? Well this is his/her chance to get dressed up and show off his/her outfit!! Let's get together and pretend like it's Halloween!! Students should come to our virtual class in any costume they want. Students should also come prepared to tell a joke or do a trick! In exchange, students will receive a virtual treat from my Halloween candy bucket. In this class, we will: -Share our costumes -View the costumes of our classmates -Tell a simple joke or do a simple "trick" -Receive a treat from the teacher's candy dish EXTENSION-- *IF* time permits--: Students will view the teacher's various masks and guess what she is dressed up as.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to practice sharing/showing, as well as listening and paying attention to others.

I ///LOVE/// Halloween! I would celebrate it every day if I could. My husband is from St. Louis, MO, where they take Halloween VERY seriously!! Children cannot simply knock on doors to receive candy-- instead, they must tell a joke or do a trick in exchange for a treat! Since our family now has expanded and adopted these serious Halloween traditions, we love to share the fun with others!
Professionally, I currently teach English to children in China, with a specialization in phonics (working with the little little learners, aged 3-5). I also have two years of substitute-teaching experience, concentrating on grades Pre-K through 3rd grade.
