Class Experience

Lets read the story "We're Going on a Leaf Hunt" by Steve Metzger. This story is about friends going on a leaf hunt during the fall. The story is based on the rhyme/song " Going on a Bear hunt". We will sing along as we read the story. Students will be able to recite the part of the story by the end of the reading. As we read we learn that different trees make different leaves. At the send of the story we will make a picture of what we would see on our leaf hunt. Would we see a skunk, a...

Students will need:
A piece of paper 
crayons/ markers/ colored pencils (anything they can color with)
