In this one-time class, learners will discuss the book, Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger. We will play the game, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, as part of the discussion of the characters and events from the book. Learners are expected to have read the entire book, Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger. This is the third book in the series, Wayside School. We will not read the book aloud during class. Learners will be given the opportunity to share his/her favorite part of the story or character. We will play Who Wants To Be A Millionaire as a whole group. Afterwards, we will complete a directed drawing of Principal Kidswatter. Learners should have drawing paper, pencil, and crayons/makers/colored pencils. Book clubs are a wonderful way to help children discover their love of reading. This course only covers book #3 in my book club for the Wayside School series. You may order the books from popular booksellers. Students should have their copy of the book during class.

I have been teaching for over 20 years. I taught sixth grade for eleven years, third grade for two years, and first grade for the past nine years. I have also taught online ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for the past three years.
