In this one-time class, learners will discuss the book, Wayside School is Falling Down. We will play the game, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, as part of the discussion of the characters and events from the book. Learners are expected to have read the entire book, Wayside School is Falling Down. This is the second book in the series, Wayside School. We will not read the book aloud during class. Learners will be given the opportunity to share his/her favorite part of the story or character. We will play Who Wants To Be A Millionaire as a whole group. Afterwards, we will complete a directed drawing of Miss Mush. Learners should have drawing paper, pencil, and crayons/makers/colored pencils. Book clubs are a wonderful way to help children discover their love of reading. This course only covers book #2 in my book club for the Wayside School series. You may order the books from popular booksellers. Students should have their copy of the book during class.

Students will discuss a shared text and complete a directed drawing.
