In this one-time class, we will discuss multiple ways for teens to earn money. We will cover important tech and digital skills, entrepreneurship, side hustles, part-time jobs, and the importance of having multiple sources of income. Students will receive a workbook 24 hours before the class to fill out during the session. After the class, they will also receive the slides to reference or for those who were unable to attend the live session.

Class Experience

"The best investment you can make is an investment in yourself. The more you learn, the more you earn." Warren Buffet πŸ“ˆ

In this course, we will discuss how teens can earn money.

After completing this module, students will be able to:
βœ…Identify money-making skills they can learn now to increase their future income
βœ…Describe how to make money online
βœ…Recognize small business ideas so they can be a teen entrepreneur
βœ…Uderstand how to find part-time jobs in their community

After class, students will be given a list of over 60 teen business ideas and additional worksheets, including all the resources I mentioned throughout the course.

I believe in teaching students the importance of 'Paying Themselves First' and developing healthy spending and saving habits. My goal is not only to help my students increase their money-making skills, but also to start developing their financial awareness. As a bonus, students will receive free handouts after each class to help them develop healthy financial habits.

πŸ’₯Bonus HandoutsπŸ’₯

πŸ’°Set SMART Financial Goals – Teaches students to take a goal and change it to a SMART goal.
πŸ’°SMART Savings Tacker – Provides students a visual of their savings goal to stay motivated.
πŸ’°Savings Wishlist – Helps create money awareness by making a wish list so they can save for what they want.
πŸ’°Sample Budget – Exposes students to a budget so they can start practicing managing their money.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Hi! My name is Lori, and I’ve been a teacher for 12 years. Besides my time in the classroom, I’ve spent five years teaching English to ELL students and teaching CogAT classes online. The best part of teaching online is meeting students from all over the worldβ€”I hope to see your student in class soon! πŸ™‚
