Informally, through review of material and open discussions, including final Q&A.Class Experience
Important Note: CEFR: B1-B2 and above. Learner will be introduced to the many practices that lead towards inner happiness. The topics covered will include the habits/actions that are more likely to generate feelings & experiences of happiness for an individual. This course follows the psychology and scientifically proven principles as taught in Yale University's class called the Science of Happiness. The principles discussed, among others, will be: Practicing Gratitude, Random Acts of Kindness, Exercise, Sleep Well, Working Hard for a Desired Outcome & Enjoying the Gratification; Relishing in Good Memories and Sharing them with Friends, Social Connections, Pairing one's strength with one's likings, and more. Class is structured with a welcome introduction of participants, teacher, as well as the material, a presentation open to comments and discussions, a final review, and an open Q&A session. Teaching style is inclusive, interactive, and kind, where curiosity and engagement are welcomed to foster thought provoking and inspiring exchanges. For these reasons and for gauging Learner's interest level and to be able to adjust accordingly, I require open mics and video in my classes so there is a sense of community and engagement with the material. There is no previous requirement for this class. Depending on the Learner's participation and questions, class may run longer. You may want to schedule the class with this in mind. Thank you!
