Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about Impressionism and Claude Monet and his most famous Japanese Bridge paintings. Students will learn about his painting style showing light and color and how to recreate their own Japanese Bridge via a slide presentation while being gently guided by teacher.
Students will demonstrate persistence in using new artistic processes using grade-level appropriate elements of art and principles of design.
I have a Masters in Art History and worked in the professional art world in a major museum before becoming a homeschool mom and private school art teacher. I love to engage students and inspire their natural creative abilities and work together to refine and develop their skill. Most of my classes on OUTSCHOOL are tried and true favorite projects from my own students. I hope yours will love them just as much!
