Beginner - Intermediate Level
This ongoing class meets once every week. We will paint plants and animals. Each week is charged as a subscription on Sunday mornings. This class is designed for students who want to learn the art of Watercolor Painting. Students will start a new project every week and have a chance to progress throughout the series. Teacher Jessica is a graduating fine art artist from California State Fullerton University with her concentration in Illustration and Graphic Design. She has received professional training on figure drawing and portraiture. Her passion in theatrical and costume design and the entertainment industry in general has contributed to an innovative approach in her teaching as well as inspired many students that she met in her classes.
Watercolor paper/ thick paper Watercolor paint in either pre-formed cake pan sets or in tubes Palette for mixing colors (can use plates, wax paper, etc.) Water container (one for clean water, one for cleaning brushes) A few brushes in various sizes, round brush in size #6 #10 or #12 will be the most useful. Some small #s for details. Pencil, eraser Paper towels Narrow painter/ duct tapes/ washi tapes
