Class Experience

Draw & Watercolor - "Frog".

You do not have to be an artist to take this class. You just need to love to create.
I will take your student on a journey, Inspire, and build confidence.

ABOUT
In this watercolor painting class, your artists will learn to draw & watercolor paint. I love to draw your artist requests! No drawing experience is needed for this class! I will teach in every class everything your artist needs to know in drawing properly!

PRIOR TO CLASS
Students should start logging...

This class is taught in English.

Specifics we will learn:
Contouring
Shading
Improve drawing skills
Colors
How to choose pencil types and hardness.
How to choose paper and art mediums.
How to use your paint brushes.
How to choose and mix watercolor paint.
Create character and form using texture and shading.
Learning perspective views.
I encourage artists to ask me any art questions!!!

  1 file available upon enrollmentWatercolor Painting Class Supplies: 
See the colors in the class pictures that we will use.
- Paper - "watercolor paper" 9 x 12 (Note this is special paper.  Regular paper will tear and a canvas will not absorb)
- Pencil and eraser
- 2 qty - Jars of water
- Paper towels or napkins
- Paintbrush
- Paint - watercolor paints
- Black Marker (Sharpie)
- Drinking straw (shhh...this is our secret to making the spikes!)
~Please have a Drinking straw~ important for this class
*Note that you will need to purchase a special paper labeled specifically as "Watercolor Paper" and "Watercolor Paints".

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
