Earth, air, fire and water all come together in this bright landscape. Students will learn to incorporate them all to achieve this achieve this glowing painting. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and how complimentary colors can create a dynamic scene. We will have some basic colors to use and mixing our own colors will be encouraged. A little color theory is always thrown into the lesson. My teaching style is to give enough instruction to keep everyone on track while letting each person's individuality be expressed as well.

Students will learn about complimentary colors and how to balance them in their painting.

Supply List
Supply List 8 inch by 10 inch watercolor paper, bowl or water, paper towels, number 12 round brush that comes to a point, 1/2 inch square, flat top brush palette paper (or a watercolor tray or foam plate), Watercolor paint tubes, not the trays. A set is easy to find a craft stores. We will use white, yellow, orange, alizarin crimson(red), purple, blue, green, brown and black.
