This class is great for beginner budding artists. Instruction will be taught on how watercolor paint and watercolor paper work together. Learners will use the wet-on-wet technique to create their transparent gummy bear and outer space sky with watercolor. A short cut on how to transfer the attached gummy bear picture to watercolor paper will be taught. Learners are encouraged to explore their creativity and have fun. Please read the supply list. Students will learn how to prep their watercolor paper for painting, and how to control the watercolor paint. They will learn watercolor techniques and tips that will help them create a fun picture. With every step, they will be encouraged to use their imagination.
Linda is an artist and has been crafting for the past 25 years. She is experienced in all forms of art specializing in jewelry making, watercolor painting, and crafts of all kinds. She teaches classes at Michaels stores in California. She is an entrepreneur and her work can be found online and in local boutiques.
1 file available upon enrollmentWatercolor set (Michaels has an inexpensive 36 color palette), or any watercolor set will do. The color palette should include white and black. 55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
