My watercolor classes have been super popular with my local homeschool group as well as here on Outschool. I love being able to create works of art for every occasion, and I want to be able to help others learn these skills too. With all my years of teaching children, youth, and adults, as well as my art education background, this is something I feel very comfortable teaching this class. In fact, I have a new session open every week from now through February. I would love the opportunity to teach your children and youth how to get extra creative with Valentines, hearts, and cards by learning about mixed media art.
Supplies Needed: Watercolor cards (pack of 20) found on Amazon Brush set (any brand) (tear drop or pointed tip brush, 3 different sized detail brushes, medium sized flat tipped brush) Tablet watercolors set of 12+ (any brand except Crayola) Cup for tracing circles for the wreathes Gel pens (glitter, neon, metallic and regular are all accepted) roll of painter's tape (usually blue or green in color) Liquid gold watercolor paint (found on Amazon) Water paper towels
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
