Want to learn a new art skill, but don't know where to begin? In this one time class, learners will develop an understanding of how to use watercolor to create light and dark tones as well as a sense of light, depth and three dimensional space to bring their very own Halloween Mimikyu to life. Learners will follow step by step 'show' and 'tell' instructions to create their artwork alongside being taught how watercolor works and tips and techniques on how to use this often unpredictable...
Students will: - Learn how to use watercolor effectively - Learn basic color theory - Develop fine motor skills through the manipulation of pencil and paintbrush - Develop social and communication skills
1 file available upon enrollmentLearners will need: - White paper (watercolor paper is ideal but not essential) - A pencil and eraser - Watercolors and a pot of water - A round sable paintbrush sized between 5 and 8 works best (ideal but not essential, any small/medium tipped paintbrush will do) - A black pen for the finishing touches and finer details (I use a fine line Sharpie) - Paper towel
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
