Utilizing simple materials, each learner will create their own version of this whimsical watercolor bird and expand their own understanding of their art abilities, leaving every one excited about their new creation. There is no homework, just additional dry time. Students will want to do this over and over again because it is super fun

Small canvas or Watercolor paper or mixed media paper Size 4x6, 5x7 ( you can cut 9x12 paper in fours too ) 8x10 for canvas Thin, fine tip sharpie black ( or permanent marker ) Traditional Sharpie Black ( or permanent marker ) Watercolors ( pallette, container or liquids is perfectly fin) Small Paint brush ( rounded or one that comes with watercolors is fine) Container for water
