Description
Class Experience
Join us for a fun and challenging course, summer camp style, in watercolor portraiture! Each day, we will focus on a different part of the face and hair to draw and paint, putting all our skills together at the end of the week to make a self portrait! Students will be taught all the watercolor techniques they will need for this course and are not expected to have any previous painting experience. Ms. Becca will be happy to guide all students of any level to reach their goals. Students...
Ms. Becca is a certified K-12 Art Educator with 15 years of experience teaching art. She is also a professional watercolor artist, having over one hundred pieces in private collections across the US. Her specialties include portraiture and seascapes.
Please come to class with: > a pencil > watercolor paper ( 8 x 10, 11 x 14, or similar size) > watercolor brushes > watercolor paints > white paint (acrylic, tempera, or gouache) > a small mixing pallete or plastic lids > paper towels > water cup
6 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
