Watercolor Art: let’s Draw and Paint For this ongoing class students will practice drawing and painting with watercolor. Students are encourage to share their own ideas on what they want to do for their art. Learner can choose to draw from various topics like animals, flowers, plants, people, fruits, objects, spaces and scenery. Learners will participate by sharing specific details they want to draw for each meeting, then giving it a try. I will try to either combine their ideas into one...
Students will gain experience in using watercolor, as well as practice and sharpen their hand to eye coordination and motor skills. Students will help lead the activity by suggesting their own ideas.
Supply/Materials list, for each class students will use: Watercolor paint Plain paper for sketching Watercolor paper: (or mixed media paper) #2 Pencil or HB lead pencil Marker (preference black, or dark colors. Used to create outline) Eraser Mixing palette Two jars/containers/cups of water Paint brushes soft synthetic bristles (preferably in two sizes) Spray bottle or dropper tool (for water) Paper towels The majority of these items prices ranges from $2 and up You may find these in Art stores, Art sections and online stores.
