Class Experience

Students will learn about the development of our baby rabbits (kittens) from a couple of days old through to 4 weeks old.
They will also learn how the mother rabbit prepares for and looks after her kittens
They will learn about the similarities and between rabbit kittens and other animals
They will learn about rabbits in general.
Students will learn to work collaboratively as they work together to produce an eBook of our rabbits journey's and what we have learnt along the way. The students will get a copy of their book at the end.
I am a qualified primary school teacher. I have also previously run a company teaching students about various aspects of science. I have now run 5 classes in the Watch me Grow Series.
All extra work is optional

Students may choose to log on and watch videos each day to keep up to date with what our rabbits are up to.

Students may also choose to do extra work for our book such as drawing pictures of our rabbits but is completely optional.
Students may need paper and pencil during some classes
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will receive an Ebook at the end of the class that will document their learning as a group
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will sometimes be observing live rabbit feeds. Rabbits are live animals and may sometimes act in unexpected ways.

Sometimes a rabbit's young will not survive. Rabbits are not always very attentive mothers and sometimes a young rabbit will die during the first 4 weeks of life.
