I am a qualified primary school teacher and have run this program several times before. I have also owned and run a science business going into schools and kindergartens and teaching science.
All extra work is optional Students may choose to log on and watch videos each day to keep up to date with what our rabbits are up to. Students may also choose to do extra work for our book such as drawing pictures of our rabbits but is completely optional.
Learners will receive a digital portfolio of their work that they can keep.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will sometimes be observing live rabbit feeds. Rabbits are live animals and may sometimes act in unexpected ways. Sometimes a rabbit's young will not survive. Rabbits are not always very attentive mothers and sometimes a young rabbit will die during the first 4 weeks of life.
