Warrior Clan Readers Circle: Into the Wild

Come join the Thunderclan and navigate through the world of the Warrior Cats! 
We will start by following Rusty, a kittypet as he leaves the only home he has ever known, explores the forest and finds a clan of wild cats. 
Each class will cover 1-2 chapters with 3 chapters of outside reading each week. I will let students know what that reading is. 
 
During class we will have a clan meeting to chat about the reading. Each person will have a special role to prepare for the clan meeting. They are:
Leader- This person gets to prepare questions for the group to talk about based on the outside reading.
Deputy- This person gets to tell the group the summary of what happened in the book.
Medicine Cat- This person gets to predict what's going to happen next. 
Warrior- This person gets to draw a picture of something that happened in the reading. 

Then as a clan we will work together to complete the duties that are required of us. These duties include
Coming up with clan rules. 
Preparing a map of our camp, so that Rusty knows where to go.
Defining words that are in kitty pet language.
Coming up with our own adventures for the clan. 
Taking a warrior personality test, to find out what role we are best suited for.

In Class: Read Prologue and chapter 1
Outside: Read Chapters 2-5

Week 2: 
In Class: Read chatpers 6-7
Outside: Read 8-10

Week 3: 
In Class: Read Chapters 11-12
Outside: Chapters 13-15

Week 4 
In Class: Read Chapters 16-17 
Outside: Chapters 18-20

Week 5
In Class: Read Chapters 21-22
Outside: Read Chapters 23-25
