Description

Class Experience

Learners will enjoy sharing and learning about literature together as they analyze these popular books and use what they've learned to create their own stories.
Students will need
  - a paperback copy of each book
  - a computer with keyboard
  - to be prepared to type into Google Drive documents that the teacher will share with each learner
  - post-its to mark places in book
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Warrior Cats books are children's literature, but contain some harsh episodes of violence and pain that occur in the challenging lives of feral cats. We will discuss why the authors included these details, what feelings they raise in learners, and why. We will explore whether or not the books would have been better without these painful parts.
