Description

Class Experience

The Warrior Cats is a popular book series, together we will explore the meaning ideas throughout the book. Students will experience the world through the cats’ eyes while considering the broad themes of the stories — what it means to be a part of a community and the importance of perseverance when facing adversity. Whether you have read the series before or are new to it, this class will help you understand that meaning.

Students will gain an appreciation for the elements of fiction:...

I am an experienced teacher of literature.

Students will read (or listen to) the assigned chapters prior to class. Estimated 2-4 hours. Time will vary due to individual students abilities.

Students will need a copy of the book or audiobook. Available through local booksellers, amazon, online retailers, and your local library.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.

The Warriors series contains battle descriptions.
