Warrior Cat Adventure Game is a role-playing based on the popular series(s) by Erin Hunter. In this class, students create and assume the role of the cat character and work with the other players to solve situations and problems - even if it means risking their lives on dangerous missions. The Warrior Cat Adventure Camp includes all eight campaigns as created and designed by the Erin Hunter team. The outline of the course is as follows: (6/4 - 6-10) Warrior Cat Creation and Game Rules / The Lost Kit Adventure (6/11 - 6/17) Fevered Dreams (6/18 - 6/24) Plaintive Howls (6/25 - 7/1) Mission of Mercy (7/2 - 7/8) Training Day (7/9 - 7/15) NO CLASS (7/16 - 7/22) Looking for New-Leaf (7/23 - 8/8) The Deluge It is the students themselves who directs these sessions, describing how their character will respond to the story, place, or situation as detailed by the Narrator (teacher). By using teamwork, players will problem solve their way through the quest, but please note: there will be mild violence in a world full of predators, rival cats, and Twolegs. Warrior Cat Adventure Games rules will be used. Though a PowerPoint will be used to guide learners through situations, paths, and encounters, this is designed as a role-playing session where the Narrator (Teacher) will verbally describe scenarios the cat characters (learners) face followed by turn-taking as each explains in detail what their cat attempts to do. Time is allotted to discuss and/or discuss any situations that arose that needs either discussion or clarification. Students may, however, need to pause in the middle of a scenario and continue it the following session. An extra session day is scheduled to offer the opportunity to finish any outstanding scenarios, share discussion points on the class, and/or complete an extra adventure all of which is based on the learners' needs.
