Students will be learning about one of the most important color schemes in art, warm and cool colors! Students will be introduced to the idea of warm and cool colors by looking at famous artwork. They will determine if the artwork uses a warm or cool color scheme. During this portion, each learner is given an opportunity to talk. Next, learners will create some art of their own! Students will be asked questions about their work as they create. In the last 5-10 minutes of class each learner will share their artwork. Some students will need time outside of class to finish their artwork. Please note that students may need time outside of class to finish their art.

Students will need: White paper Pencil Eraser Markers, crayons, or colored pencils Black Sharpie (if available)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
