Class Experience
Do you want to visit the Emerald Isle? Let's go on a virtual trip to Ireland! Our trip will begin by locating Ireland on a map. We will talk briefly about the history of Ireland and the cities of Dublin, Galway, and Cork. We will talk about what amazing historical landmarks they hold, the fascinating sites you can see, and why these cities are important. I am a "Wanderlust" at heart! I love learning about different places and cultures in our world, and even more, I love experiencing them. I lived in Europe for 5 years and was able to travel extensively around the continent. I have travelled to 31 countries, most of which are in Europe, and 49 States in the US. And I have friends from throughout the world, including Ireland. I have completed multiple university level European history, world history, and world religion classes during my 5 year degree at a university in Europe. My travels led me throughout the beautiful country of Ireland, tracing my family heritage, my great grandmother emigrated from County Donegal. I love sharing what I have learned and experienced with young learners in the hopes of helping them have a greater appreciation for the beautiful cultures and diversity of our world!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
